Theodor Seuss Geisel, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss, is quite possibly one of the greatest poets of our time. Frequently over-looked, Dr. Seuss’s creative talent is not limited simply to his prowess of rhyming words. Whole other worlds come alive in the minds of readers as Geisel’s tongue twisters spin their tale. The simple language used in his writings, in part with the not so simple musical sound and rhythm, create a feel that is almost tangible by itself. Known for children’s stories, Dr. Seuss has been more than capable of capturing adult readers as well with his fun word plays and rhymes, which in turn compliment the fantastical nature of his stories.
