hmmm, looks good. i rly like the chat bubble idea, that ought to make it rly easy to see who is who and who is saying what. a very good idea imo. also on the good side, the apparent customizability of your character's appearance, although i wish they had shown something other than the wookiees. the super buff wookie looked kind lame. anyways....everything looked and sounded cool except the sound when the dude was getting hit by the gnorts. i hope they change that cause it sounded RLY bad.

Hehe, yeah. Reminds me in Everquest when they put in new creatures, the default sound would be a human getting hit. So we would be fighting scorpions in the new expansion and they would sound like humans. :p I bet they will get it fixed and that they are on a default sound right now.

I hope I can turn the typing sound off. I ususally like typing sounds for a day or 2, then it gets really old.

i did read on a thread on the swg site that being able to turn off the typing sound was one of the first bug reports they got. i think it was holocron that requested that you be able to turn it off, so no worries simmy.

Wow, looks kickass. Doesn't look too system-intensive either.

I agree with ren tho, they should have shown another race besides wookies for customizability. Although that random generator is cool, gives you some ideas or if you're the type of person that likes surprises.

I hope they fix that clipping issue with the wookies, and that it doesn't happen with other races. The 2nd interaction video, if you look at the hand/weapon on the wookie, it clips thru his body. That's gonna get really annoying if I can't see what weapon some giant walking furball is holdng.

you can pan the camera all the way around your char if you want, that's one thing i'm super excited about, the camera action, and the way the targeting reticle works, soooooooooooooooooooo cool. i love being able to move the camera around to see myself in a game.
